I live in Ipswich, Suffolk, UK with my husband and two children. I like taking photos and joined Photoblog to encourage me to be a bit more adventurous with my subjects as well as accept the challenge to take one photo a day.

Did you pick these from your own garden? They look tastier than the shop-bought ones we get here!
Oh, how I wish these came from my very own trees! But, no, no peach trees in my yard. I get a bushel of peaches every year from a fruit & vegetable market nearby. I usually get a bushel of pears, too, but those won't be ready for another week or so. Thanks for stopping by ~ I'm behind on checking out everyone's photos ~ but hopefully tonight I'll be back to get caught up!

You were pretty brave getting that close to the camel (?) llama (?) horse (?) other (?).
I believe he is a Llama and I think that I was lucky that I wasn't spit on in the process, lol

Nice statue to have in the fountain, its shape reflects the arc made by the water.
Very observant of you! Yes, it does, I really like this sculpture, it fascinates me.

Its interesting the different effects you can get, but I think I like the original best!
Me too, but it was fun to play with.

Black and white without being black and white!
It is - you're right, never thought of that!

You must be the cupcake queen - I remember admiring the batch you made for a tupperware party earlier in year - these look delicious too!
LOL, I'm known amongst my friends and family for baking, and cupcakes are one of my specialities! My friend put in a request this time. ;)

The misty shots are great, I love the effect of the sunlight through the trees.
Thanks, it was a beautiful morning and I caught it just right.

Even a humble 'weed' can be beautiful!
Thanks! And I agree... if only we took the time to look.

I love the coloured reflections in #7, but I cant help but wonder at the energy that must be required to keep all these signs bright.
Well, Hong Kong is part of China now and, as you know, China has been accused of ignoring global warming guidelines, and I would suppose that Hong Kong does contribute greatly to energy usage since it became part of China in 1997. Best regards.
