The old building along the Phuttabucha Road at the evening. I was standing on the right and this side has Night Bazaar, but at that time most of shops and bars still closed for preparing to open around 6 pm. only some little restaurants opened.

Traffic circle in front of the train station. One easier choice to come to Phitsanulok is by train because it passes through the city and the staion is a remarkable point, so much easy for anyone who want to find out somewhere to begin especially lonely backpackers ;)

If you decide to find your accommodation by yourself without booking before (same as me, but I don't recommend doing something stupid like this anyway!!), "Phitsanulok Hotel" has a reasonable price and clean room (air-conditioned and/or fanned) for you. Here is nearby train station when you go out form there then see the left side is the hotel. My room was 260 Bahts per night (around 8 $) At this rate is for fanned room - single bed - toilet inside - balcony - cable TV. Overall of room for me is really excellent e.g. they made me feel back to the old Chino-Thai atmosphere, very clean room (lovely aunty maid always clean your room everyday, I miss her so much :D), private - comfort - and easy living. I'm not sure here has Wi-Fi or not, but I think here hasn't. If you must use it frequently, I recommend that you should find out the new hotel or guesthouse instead.
