Christchurch Lyttelton Farmers Market, New Zealand

2008.11.15
How Kiwis shop fresh healthy food at reasonable low prices?

Lyttelton Farmers Market happens every Saturday from 10am to 1pm, in the grounds of Lyttelton Main School, Oxford Street, Christchurch, New Zealand.

You can proudly practise your green-purchase-power to buy local fresh food from the grower/maker through reducing food miles and packaging.

Please leave your dogs at Dog Parking Area before getting in the market.

Organic vegetables are the best sellers - asparagus, potato, tomato, currot, lettuce, etc.

Plants of tomato, lettuce and herbs catch the crowds' attention due to their competitive prices.

Don't be fooled by the name just because it's written in capital by a native English speaker. It is artichoke.
