“It allows kids to witness first hand the impact of rubbish in the environment. It’s also sort of community work for kids to get involved during their school holiday.” Pauline and Debbie brought their daughters Emily and Christina, both aged 8.
“I’m impressed by how many young volunteers turned up today together with their parents.” Nacho Homs Gonzalez, an international student from Catalonia, Spain gladly gave a hand to clean up the antipodes’ riverbank.

Thanks Ellen.
What you continue to do with your volunteers is fantastic. If you could pass on my congratulations to your team I would be very grateful.
