Beach Fireworks Show Up, Warm Up Christchurch
The annual spectacular on New Brighton pier that happens every year on 5 November, knicking off at 9:15pm.
The show can be viewed from many vantage points along the beach.
Ten thousands of locals and visitors view the 15-minute fantastic fireworks show. Some come down early and have a picnic with the family or enjoy the rides and carnival atmosphere on the beachfront.
It is a must-do activity while you are study or travelling in Christchurch. Metro buses bring you to New Brighton beach and back every 10 minutes.
