It is worth navigating through the city streets on foot and discovering the creative arts of painting, sculptures, jade, etc.

The Katherine Mansfield Birthplace (10minute walk from Parliament buildings) is the childhood home of New Zealand's most internationallly famous short story writer whose memories were rectreated in 'The Aloe', 'Prelude' and 'A Birthday'.


Cubita-Cafe de Cuba just reflects Wellington's bohemian quarter in Cuba Street.

A public toilet in Courtenay Place, the entertainment quarter which brings art to life with concerts, operas, plays, musicals, live theatre and comedy.

Buzzy Bee, a favourite icon of New Zealand appears in Wellington downtown. Generations of little New Zealanders have pulled Buzzy Bee around since the mid 1940's.

Car parks are not so accessable in streets of Wellington downtown that the private garage is offered to the public.

The postman/woman have to walk every day up and down the hilly Wellington city.

Bank of New Zealand building currently used as a Burger King restaurant is now for sale.
