This picture explains why I didn't take many pictures over the summer... Yep, that's a hospital band- from the surgical suites, no less. They chopped me open AGAIN, this time to un-attach masses of adhesions (scar tissue that's attached to both internal organs and the layers of flesh and skin above them- very painful) and to insert a "whoppin' ass huge peice" of artificial mesh, that would resolve a hernia caused by the last several surgeries going in again and again at the same place. :P I was fairly well wiped out by it, but was healing fast after the fix!
