It was a happy rugged day in the Cumberland Mountains. Imagine nearly 11 miles along a trail that can be seen only by the occasional white blaze on a tree. Yes, I know, sounds like hell to some~but for me it was sheer bliss!

I don't think I can adequately describe today so I won't. I will say it was a day filled with wonderful sights, amazing new trail friends, and countless blessings. Truly I am amazed at the perfection of the last day of the year...wow.
