I love this picture of Maggie. She's one of those people that is incredibly photogenic, especially when she's being natural. I know the coat probably makes Lisa want to poke her eyes out with a knitting needle, but the coat is so..."Kansas," to me. It helps make the picture.

Annie Kansas always makes me think about spiky scrubby fields and hot horses with sweaty blankets. And corn de-tasseling. And really LOUD cicadas.
