My mom made this hat, oh, I don't know when. Years upon years ago, I'm sure. I don't know what it's supposed to be...a tomato? a strawberry? a red pepper? Anyway, Evan loves it. He wants to wear it around whenever he sees it and the other night he wanted to wear it to bed. It makes me happy that there are at least a few things among the gazillions of pink ribbony sweaters and hats and blankets my mom knitted/crocheted that my boy is able to wear.
