what remains in the heat

Dogwood leave

dogwood trees

I know that hydrangea has been done to death here, but I just can’t resist the temptation to copycat others. :p Those were not natural dew or rain drops, but water sprayed on the petals to revive them on a scorching hot day before I took the pictures.

photopoet Just simply stunning.
As long as they get water—from the sky or faucet—it makes for a gorgeous set.

ColorMeGreen Maybe 'done to death here' , but NOT like this. These are special, the color, clarity, perspective, closeness.
Yes, this is refreshing to look at.
So, you refreshed us, as well as the hydrangeas!! Thank You

Carley These are wonderful shots!! I've never seen green hydrangeas before.... Are the ones in #7 & 8 hydrangeas also? Also, IMHO..... there can't be too many flowers posted.....and each flower and each photo is different!

Lynda Lovely shots.

vollenda They look awesome with the water drops. Even if they were man made :) I can never get enough of hydrangeas, I love the way they grow in little bouquets. It could be also because they remind me of my grandparents house. Anyway...#1 is spectacular! And I really like the greens in the last few shots.

In other news, this is a great set. #1,4&8 are my personal favorite. I love the water touch, it's a lovely complement.
