a grain upon the beach,
I think of God Who made us all,
my life's within His reach!"

kimauman You made the flowers interesting by posing them in different angles--like it. The first one is a winner.

777STAN Thank You ALL very much! You have encouraged me greatly with your words to continue my experimentation as a Nature Photographer!

Let me give you the back-story on #1...You can do something like this yourself, if you are willing to experiment with layers and opacity percentages in Photo Shop Elements.

(By the way I recommend PSE to anyone who wants to begin Post-Process Editting on their jpeg captures. Carley, You have pretty much all you need to begin [...if you haven't already...])

Just go to ADOBE, and type Photo Shop Elements in the search window. You should find the 30-Day Full Version Trial of PSE 6.0. Download it & Have FUN!

When you want to start, Open one of your recent jpegs in PSE, and Be Amazed by all the automatic improvements available to you.
In the pull-down tab, labelled "Enhancements," are four options that for my money are simply "Push & Go!"
1. Auto-Smart-Fix...
2. Auto-Levels... (These 2 seem to have similar strength if you
3. Auto-Contrast...use one, then the other won't change much.)
4. Auto-Color-Correction...

Steps: 1. Auto-(#1-#4, your choice); 2. Resize to 480 X 640 pixels (located in Pull-Down tab, called "Image;" 3. Save For Web at highest quality (in the "File" Pull-Down tab [usually last on the LEFT side of work space]. This should provide you with a high-quality web-ready image in PhotoShop (I don't know what you are using right now, but your photos already look great...So, these suggestions are merely tips for your continued education, if you so choose.)

I like to include short "How-To's" upon occasion in case someone is interested in starting to learn PhotoShop. Maybe, I can save someone some time...because I spent hours upon hours trying/experimenting/learning these techniques I use today.

ENJOY!
