Sowing Light in a Dark World...

The Sower sows Light to the World! Jesus, the Babe in the manger, the Man on the Cross, the Man Who walked out of the empty tomb simply because He could & to seal His Victory, is the Light that the Sower sows! :)

"God is Bigger than any problem I have!" Dr. Michael A. Guido (aka "The Sower" of Metter, Georgia).

Dr. Guido graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, easily 20-30 years before I was born. He became a staff evangelist for MBI, and travelled across The States for many years before establishing the internationally recognized, Guido Evangelistic Association, in Metter more than 50 years ago now.

At age 92, Dr. Guido is a personal friend of Dr. Billy Graham, the late Dr. Lee Roberson, and singer Jake Hess.

Before Dr. Guido became an itinerate evangelist, he confesses, "I led an atheist to the LORD, then I led her 'down the aisle'." Dr. Michael & Mrs. Audrey Guido have served the LORD together for about 60 years now in countless & myriad ways...always by faith. They have never asked for money, and they won't tell you their needs without being asked.

Dr. Guido has presented the Good News of Jesus Christ in many ways that include one minute radio & television spots that have been seen world-wide.

(As an interesting little side note: Dr. Guido has a radio studio on campus, but he is not personally equipped for television. Therefore, the last I heard Dr. Guido still has a television crew come to the Gardens twice a year for a three-day weekend, usually spring and fall. During that weekend, it is customary for Dr. Guido to record about 175 -180 one-minute spots that he has personally written and memorized, even though he does use cue cards as needed.)

It is my great honor to know Dr. Michael A. Guido personally, to have helped him in his ministry for a few months, and to state with all candor that after Jesus Christ Himself, and my own Dad, Dr. Guido is probably the single greatest influence on my life.

I pray that I will never disappoint even one of these three men. The honorable must always be honored! :)
