Railroad tracks have always been fascinating in their look and the consistency of the service they perform.
They have a few features not noticed at first glance. My Dad taught my a riddle when I was small, "Railroad track look at the cars, can you spell [b]that without any 'r's?"[/b] Of course, I told Dad, "No, sir." To this he responded, "I can. T-H-A-T." (Dude! Can't argue with that kind of logic...because, of course, the word, "THAT" doesn't have any 'r's to begin with.
In my high school Spanish class I learned another hidden feature. Railroad in Spanish is a big word that helps Spanish students to trill their double 'r's. Ferrocarril...Say THAT five times fast.
