I think in #2 it's looking down, and #3 looking up! The first should have decided, but it didn't and it's looking everywhere. Great set!

My favorite joke on the subject was learned when I was a child. Two little boys were walking along a fence row when one little boy pointed to something that looked like one of these pictures. He exclaimed, "What...is...THAT?!" His buddy replied, "A knot hole!" To that, the first boy responded, "Well, if it's not a hole, then what is it?!" :} (I know it's dumb, but it has always made me laugh.) :)

Thanks for all the comments so far! Here's a hint...They are all from the same perspective. This, of course, amazed me seriously...since I can "see" them "going both ways" for all. I didn't try to create an optical illusion, but they very much are. :)
