Time to go get the kiddos. The trip will be two days this time, one down to get them and the next to return home. The trip started out pleasant enough.
Not too much in the way of traffic on my nice back roads.
Pretty scenery out in horse country where we live.
Pleasant skies with the sunroof open and groovin' to my iPod.
Then... it hit. Nothing but break lights for three miles before the tunnel. So close yet so stuck! 40 minutes to go three miles.
It sure was nice to see those happy sweet faces though. It made it all worth while.
