On the road again...

2007.06.19

Well, my parents wanted a turn to have the grand kids all to themselves too. So, yesterday we hit the road to get my babies to their house. You may be asking yourself, why a picture of Arby's? This is the Arby's I try to stop at each time I make the extended trip to see them. About 6 years ago, I was at this particular Arby's and I accidentally left my wallet behind. About a day later, the manager called me after tracking me down through my grocery card to let me know he had it and he was FedEx-ing it to me. He wouldn't accept any compensation for the delivery charge and everything was in the wallet with no further incident. Ever since, I try to stop in here. It's always clean and the staff is always friendly AND accurate. I've been there enough times that I thought it deserved a day in my photo blog. If you're ever in Emporia, Virginia please stop in!

jwideman What a great story! There aren't too many honest people in the world and it's always nice to come across them in your time of need, especially when you lose something like your wallet! My husband's $450 wedding band ended up in a gutter about a month before our wedding (long story). When we realized that it was in the gutter it was already gone. We learned from neighborhood folk that a city worker might have picked it up so we contacted the city and sure enough--he had turned it in!

God is so good!
