"NO! Dat too Picey!"

Last night my family had pizza for dinner. At the end of the meal, my husband offered our son the hot pepper from the pizza box. Our boy threw out the palm of his hand in such a forceful way and shouted, "NO! Dat too picey!" He was so emphatic that we both laughed out loud! This photo is actually a re-enactment because didn't have the camera at the ready at the initial incident. The boy seemed all too delighted to do it for us again and again though - evoking giggles from his parents each time.

I guess moments like these are the type that it's okay to not have a perfectly composed artistic photo. A snapshot will evoke the memory for us in years to come and sometimes that's all you need. Still, I'd like to be good enough to know exactly which buttons to push on my camera in the lighting conditions at hand to get a good photograph everytime. I guess that's why I'm doing this blog, eh? Practice everyday will certainly help with that.
