Cousins

My parents were visiting this weekend and they took us out to dinner last night with my brother and his family and my sister. We went to the mostly kid-friendly TGIFridays. The place was packed since it's in the parking lot of a local outlet mall and it's tax free weekend here for the back to school shoppers. Even though it was noisy and packed, we still managed to have a good time. My daughter started bouncing up and down in her seat clapping when she saw her four cousins round the corner. She loves any time she gets to spend with her cousins.

All of these pictures were taken with my Speedlite and my Lightsphere. In each case, I had the inverted dome in the Lightsphere and I had it aimed directly at my subject. You can see that it managed to do a nice job even in the crappy TGIF restaraunt lighting and in the excessive heat and haze outside the establishment. If you decide to buy one, I recommend purchasing it on ebay from the seller honestgavel. That is actually Gary Fong's company (Gary Fong Inc.) selling on ebay but the shipping is cheaper which brings the price down by a couple bucks. As we all know, a couple bucks saved here means a couple more bucks toward the next camera accessory!
