Snow Day

Yesterday morning everything was clear. By 11:00 everything was covered in white. I was supposed to be the parent volunteer in my daughter's kindergarten class. Since I was heading to school, I obviously didn't put her on the bus. I was so glad! When I went to take her to school, I was sliding all over the neighborhood! When I got to the main road, I saw that it wasn't much better so I turned around and we went home. Since it was still falling hard and fast, I dropped her at home and went to get the boys from preschool. I was slipping all over the place but I decided better to get them early than after it was worse and everyone else was out trying to pick up their kids too. I was so glad to be home safe and warm in our house with everyone!

Naturally, the kids wanted to go out and play in the snow so I obliged.
