I've seen other people do it so I thought I'd give a try. I cut up a plastic grocery bag and knit it together into a square! How fun is that?! It's remarkably strong too. I think it would be fun to knit a whole bunch of these and then stitch them together to make a recycled grocery bag or a beach/pool bag or something. It was fun to knit and went really fast too.
