Arts and Crafts

Today my girl got to do arts and crafts. It was a rare opportunity for her to have the craft table all to herself and do a big kid kind of craft. Our eldest son has been at his Grandma and Grandpa's house all week and our youngest son was napping after another morning spent at the farm.

She painted her initials in the colors of her room for Mom to embellish further with ribbons and doo-dads. Then the two little girls across the street came over to see what was happening in our driveway so I fished out three more crafts that all the girls could work on. They were pretty happy to be doing crafty stuff this beautiful afternoon. Afterward, we strolled down to the lemonade stand a few of the boys had set up down the street and all the girls got some lemonade.
