Stitches!

My girl fell and cut herself on the knee badly enough that she had to get stitches.

Hubby and I were terribly upset that we were leaving her behind in another state with her grandparents for a week when she'd just hurt herself more than she ever has before! Fortunately, we were leaving her in the care of grandparents who love her *almost* as much as we do. Had she been at camp or something - she'd have been taken home for some Mom and Dad attention.

She was very brave. Since the accident, she has been reported to be feeling fine and is even quoted to have said, "I'm glad this happened to me instead of the boys. They would have hurt and cried." Makes me want to go swoop down and love on her!
