Oh, Shoot! Assignment 1

I signed up for a photography class with Candice Stringham called Oh, Shoot! Today is the first day of the class. Unlike most classes, she has started us out working on shutter speed. Frankly, I'm kinda pleased about that because that is my weakest area.

The goal of the class is to be shooting in manual mode by the time it's over - six weeks from now. Our first assignment is to take a picture at a slow shutter speed and another at a fast shutter speed. Prepare to see a lot of my assignments here in the next six weeks. I decided to step out my back door and take pictures of the leaves blowing in my back yard. Dull, but effective. I'll be looking for more interesting shutter speed shots this week.
