Signs of Spring

I opened my front door to snap a picture of my view as spring comes into bloom. On Monday, those trees were completely lifeless.

While the door was open, my dog ran away. Fortunately, she will always give up the chance to run free for a chance to ride in the car. Annoying that she won't come when she's called, but at least I don't have to go running after her like a lunatic.

Back at the house, with the dog securely on a leash, I decided to capture these. They never last long but they smell heavenly when you step out my door.

Now - this picture requires an explaination! The kids in my daughter's class earned pajama day today at school but my daughter forgot to wear hers this morning. She was heart broken when she got to school so her teacher sent me an email this morning and I delivered two pair of pjs for her to select from. What you see is what she passed on and the clothes I brought back home. I am seriously counting my blessings today that I am in a position to ease my child's heartache so easily. I'm sure it won't always be that way.
