67. Deconstructing Harry

Enric (Harry) is a friend. On the occasion of its 40th birthday, I wanted to make a gift, so I drew his portrait and as a metaphor for his age, the "down" (Deconstructing), alluding to reach that point of his own existence, one begins to recount and also to analyze and understand why some himself.

Unfortunately, Enric had not exactly meet the forties and before they could give no explanation, my portrait interpreted as a reference to aging rather than knowledge.

The first impact happened and now, four years later that I finally overcame Enric it from quarantine. Now really he sees his portrait and himself with other eyes.

Enric (Harry) es un amigo. Con motivo de su 40 cumpleaños, quise hacerle un regalo, así que dibujé su retrato y como metàfora de su edad, lo "descompuse" (deconstructing), en alusión a que llegados a ese punto de la propia existencia, uno empieza a hacer recuento y también a analizar y entender algunos porqués de sí mismo.

Lamentablemente, Enric no llevaba muy bien lo de cumplir los cuarenta y antes de poder darle ninguna explicación, interpretó mi retrato como una referencia al envejecimiento más que al conocimiento.

El primer impacto pasó y ahora, cuatro años más tarde creo que al fin, Enric superó lo de la cuarentena. Ahora si, ve su retrato y a sí mismo con otros ojos.
