Morning @ e East

2010.11.22
pixel
#1 Lingering Moon
Reached Pasir Ris park earlier enough to catch a glimpse of the moon. Simply beautiful. Alas..lack the technique to capture the beauty on the camera.
pixel
#2 Good Morning
Din have to wait for long, the sun rays peeking thru the clouds. As normal, you can see the shipyard working unceasingly.
pixel
#3 Reflections of the Sky
Wanted to capture the reflections of the sky, thus the f22 and slow shuttle speed. Water is then calm enough to reflect the sky but colour is abit soft. Maybe due to low light conditions.
pixel
#4 Colours of Sunrise
I may not do full justice to the scene here. But watching the colours of the sunrise affirms my decision to waking up early. God never fails to impress!
pixel
#5 Bridges...again
I have a thing with bridges. Here is a bridge across Sungei Api Api. Water calm enough to see its reflection.
pixel
#6 Road to the light
Seeing this scene before me makes me wonder how would the path to heaven be like. One can only wonder.
pixel
#7 Stop and see the flowers
One should always stop and see the flowers. Life is not meant to be rushed. But to live to its fullest.
pixel
#8 Music in the park
This gentleman here plays excellent music with the flute. Its like a live concert in the park.
pixel
#9 Light, Shadows and Trees
What a sight before my eyes. The sun casting its rays thru the trees and casting its shadows in the mist.

Maybe I should get a better filter to capture such scenes haha
pixel
#10 Shadows in the mist
Another angle where the shadows are more prominent. This scene presents itself for brief moment and then it just vanishes.
pixel
#11 Strength of a tree
Just amazing that nature would have it that trees can grow tall and strong and provide shade to all of us.
pixel
#12 Shadows cycling past
Saw this spot to capture the long shadows of the morning but no subject in sight... In a split second, one just cycle past. Snap! The scene is captured.
pixel
#13 Shelter in the park
Ahh.. the much needed shelter from the sun.
pixel
#14 Indoor Tree
Saw this tree in T3. Noticed the interesting shape the leaves formed from this angle.
pixel
#15 Window Light
Light shining thru T3's window, forming a nice rectangle. Coupled with a subject dancing in the light. Snap!
pixel
#16 Light, Shadows and Reflections
With the right angle of incidence, all of the above is captured in this single shot.
pixel
#17 Cross shining thru
God is indeed everywhere.
pixel
#18 Lined Tiles
Imagine the effort put in by the contractors in laying the tiles. Nice.
pixel
#19 Smart Ceiling
This is one of the most innovating technology employed by Singapore Airports. This ceiling will reflect light from outside and illuminate the entire airport during daytime. Saving electricity and creating this interesting picture for all of us.
pixel
#20 Reflections in T3
Was waiting for my family after a toilet break and saw this reflection on the ground. Snap!
pixel
#21 Horse in Airport
There is this big Christmas display in front of the departure gate of terminal 3. Tried as I may to take a photo to reflect the beauty of this display but cannot get the full view on my cropped DSLR. One would need to see the whole display in totality to appreciate the beauty of the display. Hmm..maybe a Tokina 11-16mm? keke.

Here is my attempt to share a piece of the Christmas display with all.
pixel
On leave today and thus wanted to capture e sunrise from Pasir Ris Park. After which a family excursion to terminal 3.

lismel I really like #10 ! I think this is the best composition to make the best from this light. #9 is good too, but weaker than #10.
