#2 Like the contrast between the leaf and the broadwalk. The diagonal lines of the broadwalk lead us to the yellow leaf

#3 A typical palm tree along the beach but I like the way how the sun light falls on this part of the tree makes this interesting

Went with my colleague for a photo shoot outing at Changi broadwalk on New Year day. Going to focus on finding pictures that are impacted by sun light

Like #5 best. Good lighting on the floor in background and rocks in foreground. Strong shadow work. Can try tightening up the composition a bit, maybe using 70 or 85 mm to flatten the perspective a bit more and open aperture by 1 stop for shallower DOF. #2 Shift the leaf a bit to exclude the grass so there is only a single color against the dark background for greater impact.

Nice shots! Luv all of them :) the only comment is that #1 and #2 doesn't relate well to the rest of the shots

@Andrew: Thanks! I took #1 and #2 before deciding on the theme that's why. However w/o light #1 and #2 can't be captured as well. keke.
