Outlive Outshine, Koi Fish

The scene is at a Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park, San Diego. Originally form China, but widely found in Japan this species are known as Koi Fish. According to my research these creatures could have a maximum lifespan of 200 years in exceptional instances with an average lifespan of 25 to 35 years. It is hard to believe that these guys could outlive and outshine most people.
