This Friday was a special day for me. Especialy its evening. Our friend invited us for a dinner to Huset - where is the best restaurant in Svalbard. And for sure, it was also the most expensive restaurant I have ever been in. We had really nice time there with nice food and wine.
After the dinner, we went back to our friends house (on the picture). Its actualy the oldest house in Longyearbyen. We were siting in his sauna there and cooling us down outside,in front of his hous, roling in the snow or just siting on a chair and watching night sky.
Amazing norden lights were dancing on the sky this night...The strongest I have ever seen...
I took this picture another day. It was pity that I didnt have a camera with me that night. The picture with the strong northen lights would be soo nice..but another time ;-)

Beautiful! The snow almost looks like sand. Is that a shooting star on the right, or is it part of the starburst from a light?
