With their owners in close attendance, the bulls lock horns...

During the contest the owners will regularly dart in to move a rope or encourage more contact. They get so close to the animals it is a wonder that they don't get caught...

A farmer rushes in to retreive his stick, inches away from the hooves of his animal...

Finally, when a winner has been determined (it was not obvious how this was decided) many people from the crowd rush on to pull the bulls apart.

Meanwhile, other bulls and owners await their turn...
