We went on the PTA outing to Nagano-ken. We visited Matsumoto Castle, the Chihiro Iwasaki Museum, the Azumino Winery, and a wasabi farm. We tried some wasabi soft-serve icecream. It sounds more exciting than it really was--mostly it was just green and sweet. Later, I had some apple soft-serve at the rest stop on the way home. It was delicious! We also bought some apples at the Azumino Winery. Maybe it's the cooler weather in Nagano, but the apples were much more tangy and delicious than the ones we get at the store in Maebashi.
