Even though I don't particularly love the yellow sign in last shot, I do like how you intentionally included it in the composition (instead of it being a background distraction, like if it were cut-off). That shows that you are aware of each element of the frame and how it contributes to the fin...
Thanks a ton! I love macro too.... I really need to do a bunch of macros for a while. And yes that is me! I was kinda afraid that I was overdoing the contrast and color in the sky, but I loved it so much.

And I just did! I like your profile.. and your ideas.. wonderful to be a positive person, even better to share it with like-minded people. As for actively seeking to improve yourself, that's a wonderful thing to do. Nup! I just cut one up to mimic a photo of a lens hood... hahahah it was so dodgy... made it out of some strong paper... :) Have a go! I'm sure there is a tutorial though and it would probably be better than my crapola attempt. It got wet the day I used it and kaputt... LOL hehe I know what you mean! :) And I think it's great to share that inspiration. You'd like to think if the same happened to someone with one of your shots, that they would tell you. Pfft NO!! Not at all, hun :) xoxoxo |

I love that message, that we are all connected. It made me think of a quote I have on my gaia profile:
Once again, your comments are so cool. That might be the most immature way of articulating it, but I'm really lost for words right now! lol Work has fried my brain.I am the universe becoming aware of itself. And so are you. Love the color in this shot... and how the depth of field adds so much softness to an otherwise rough t... Gaia profile? What's that? Do tell! I LOVE the quote. |

That first shot is my favorite of the set... I love the motion and contrast. It works great in black&white... The darkness creeping in from the corners (in several of these shots) adds a lot to the atmosphere...
Thank you very much Amy – but please do not ever feel pressured to comment – you can when you can, and if you feel compelled to - if you don’t, it’s not like I’m suddenly going to cast you off! :P I also love #5, for the depth of field of course, but also because... I really like the first as well, and you’d be the only person to favour it other than myself :) That darkness creeping in on the edge of the shots is created by my little homemade vignette – you should try one, it’s fun. You can also get that from the vignette function in PS. Hehehehe glad you noticed spidey! I love him peeking out in the shot :) Yes, spot on – you’re the only one to get that – it is a palm tree! Isn’t the texture lovely? It looks almost like really coarse hair hehehehe |

Number 3 is absolutely gorgeous... I love the angle and depth of field. Definitely had to enlarge that one. Wow!
Thank you. Comments like yours make up for the shortfall. :)
The whole set looks very professional. You have too few comments. |
