The Art of Quantifying Silence

These photos were taken right after Christmas of 2005, the day I upgraded from my point-and-shoot to my SLR camera.

When I took these photos, it was the first time I felt magic happen with a digital camera. These were the first photos of my entire life that turned out how I was imagining. The first photos I'd ever been extremely proud of creating :) It was very exciting. I loooooove macro photography.

I was inspired by my friend Avenescent on DeviantArt, who I haven't spoken to in a very long time... these are dedicated to him.
