Revisiting Some Favourite Haunts

This was one cool dude at the flea market

Ridiculously friendly, heavily tattooed, raspy voice that spoke of perhaps a carton of cigarettes a day. You would have thought he was playing rock and roll, just by looking at him...

...urr...no, he was playing some pretty good music that sounded like it had a bit of Spanish influence, but I couldn't make out more than that. I hope he's still there next time I visit...

I love the flea market at Fairfax...love it, love it, LOVE IT!

I took a similar shot in what seemed like eons ago on film, and it ended up being my first image accepted for an exhibit.

Try as I did, I was not able to recreate what I had done initially. I think this is a pretty good sign for me to go back to film...

I so love the Getty...everything about it. I would have felt that my trip was missing a huge gap if I had not had the opportunity to come back here.

This is one place I truly miss...
