You may have heard that all eyes were on this little corner of the world for the past 2 weeks.

I have to say that all the visitors to the city were quite lovely and I had some really nice chats with a number of them. I think I'll also miss the spontaneous outbursts of our national anthem on crowded trains and buses!

Having said that, I am happy that things are more or less back to normal.

My palms hurt from high fiving a whole bunch of strangers in downtown after the closing ceremonies.

Really amazing atmosphere that night, I'm not usually one for large crowds, but this was something else!

Free hugs...and now people have moved onto free kisses...what the?! Sooo...what's next?

In the few minutes I hung around to photograph, he had a few takers...well, one woman came back twice.

If they had only programmed the lights to create the Bat signal, that would have been way cool. Didn't like this light, art sculpture thing at all:(
