Beantown is also known as "Genetown" for those in the biotech & pharma industries. Many companies are located on the MIT campus. So I had a quick boo & of course this is one of the biggies. I ended up on the East coast for this very reason - lots of discovery, innovation & funding here. I haven't quite sold my soul to big pharma yet & hoping that this will never happen!

Only spent a very short time at MIT so far...mostly at the Stata Center. It was way too muggy that day to do too much meandering.
For those architecture geeks out there, this is a building designed by Frank Gehry. This is one awesome cool building! At least I think so;0)
