54/365 - A Day of Multiplicity

We had a really big day out today...
First, to Lakeside Christian City Church's Annual Raft Race, which was amusing as always to watch -- the pirate boat in the picture won despite having endured a heavy arsenal of waterbombs :-)

Then we drove to Duranbah Beach to check out the 2008 Roxy Pro & have a swim ourselves (the day's temps exceeded 35 degrees celcius).
My camera was a baby compared to some I saw there.....boy did I get lens envy...
Surfing? What surfing...I could only drool over the camera's...lol ;-)

Then finally home...where, after the sun went down, our shy family of Geckos came out to play & feed on the outside evening insects. This itsy bitsy baby looks like he was only born in the past few days...he was only about 4cm long. So cute!
