just wait until they're teenagers. sometimes i get aggravated that our house is in a constant state of disarray because it's the hangout place and then i remember that i'd rather them be home rather than someplace i have to worry about what they're doing.

lovely perspective, color, detail, composition... really a stunning photograph! I'm very much so longing to be somewhere, cooped up in a house beneath a continuous downpour of the beating rain... it would be such an ecstatic experience! (this happens so rarely out where I am...)
