244/365 - Pretty in Pink

Nathan's cousin is getting married on the weekend, and it's cocktail attire....something we definitely don't own. I've never seen Nathan in a suit for as long as I've known him (how did he get away with this?!!)...and all my special evening dresses are most definitely not suited for maternity wear.

So Nathan's getting a suit from a friend, and I went shopping :) Not as fun as it first sounds, because when you're shopping for something that will accommodate a now-quite-round belly...your options drop substantially ... and the prices go up :-/

So Ebay solved this dilemma for me, I found a wonderful dressmaker on there who posted express, and, YAY, it arrived today!!

I find I struggle bigtime with photographing fabrics, I really wanted to emphasis just how soft & pretty the material is that this is made out of...I feel like an absolute princess in it.
You'll have to wait to see the whole dress....I'll save that for Saturday when Nathan's in his rockin suit too :-)
