Chepstow Castle...

This photo wasn't always going to be at this angle, it just happened because I was at the time sliding down a steep embankment on my bum... very undignified it was, but the photo actually turned out ok! (in focus at least)

Chepstow Castle is built on top of cliffs overlooking the River Wye, it is the oldest surviving post-Roman stone fortification in Britain. It's build was started by the Normans and it is the southernmost of a chain of castles built along the English-Welsh border.

trippindelight Amazing structure..it just reeks with age. Great job on the action photo, #5. I really like the second one with a view of the steepness of the land and the little bits of greenery growing on the top.
