Great shots of John's new sidekick!!!! Yes, cut backs to the arts and humanities are wide spread in US as well. We have no Government subsidy on instruments - we pay twice - in our taxes and at the retail store!!!! hahahaha sweet music!!!

Yes, the cutbacks to the art programs especially are happening here too. I'm glad you are able to allow John to continue his musical adventure with a beautiful new trumpet..nice photos. I really like that last flashy one.

That's such a familiar story. Our music service were under threat of redundancies but have managed to avoid them so far - at least until April. I hope John enjoys his new trumpet! I like the way it glows in the final shot :-)

Glad he's continuing with his lessons. My nephew is a peripatetic teacher of guitar in schools... it breaks his heart when young students are obliged to hand their instruments back, even more so when parents are unable to replace them. The last photo is so full of glitz!
