The owner of the yellow flexwing microlite, hadn't tethered it properly, which is not a good idea on a windy day... the chap standing on it's wing is a member of public that vaulted over the fence to stop it crashing into the little red and white plane...
I couldn't resist this little plane with all our initials in its identity number
this is a Battle of Britain flight simulator, and you are part of a dog fight with Spitfires and Messerschmidts...
John and James enlisted as Spitfire pilots, with flying goggles and everything... imagine their surprise when they turned out to be Messerschmidt pilots shooting at the Spitfires...

Great catch on the heroic action in the first. The flight simulator sounds like fun. John and James could have knocked anything out of the sky with those goofy, but cool looks. Great set..but I am imagining your feet getting quite tired getting around to see all this stuff.

You had a fantastic day at Duxford. Dad has really enjoyed your pics. They have been a topic of conversation at many dinners of late.
