We went up to almost Canada and went hiking and geocaching (I'm preparing a post about geocaching, should be here soon).

After our long hike and finding of geos we stopped by the lake for lunch at this lovely little spot.

Jen and I went out to find the best place to have our picnic and when we found it the rest followed. I especially like how the yellow lichen grows on both sides of the dock as if it was a warning line (don't get too close!!).

Look, mom made me lay down while everyone ate. I kept my eyes on the shore in cases of intruders or kitties.
|
Then when we were done with the eating I went swimming because I was afraid we'd go on another log hike and I'd be hot!! It was a lovely trip and I really love this old dock.

What a beautiful looking place - that lake looks like it goes on forever! If I was there with you Arabella I'd be swimming around with you in the water, looks like a great place for swimming!
