Finally you should know that I found my calling today at Dog Hill (I always knew that place was special). We got there and there were no dogs! Just people waiting for the dogs to get there so they could love them. We met this older gentleman who gave me a toy and this college student studying (she needed a break.)
At this point mom and me went on a walk and hoped that when we got back there'd be some dogs about. But again there were none! And it was so nice out that mom didn't want to go home at all so she laid down on the pavement and took a nap.
A little bit later these two old ladies came up to dog hill. One was in a wheelchair, which is kinda like mom's computer chair but has bigger wheels and can go everywhere. Anyway she had moved to a nursing home and came to dog hill because she couldn't have any dogs there. So I was real nice to her and let her pet me and gave her a stick and some puppy love.
At this point I realized! Lots of dogs are therapy dogs and I'd be great at it! We chatted with the ladies for a long time and finally some more dogs came to keep them company (and I guess mom had to go to work). So we got going but I'm still going to be a therapy dog (at least I'll be one when people needing therapy come to the park and maybe I'll go visit people who need some puppy love where they live.)
