Mouse over for details. Geography: The top most white layer is Coconino sandstone, the red layers used to be under water and contain iron oxide and I think it's called Schnebly Hill Canyon sandstone. Occasional white patches are calcium carbonate and the dark streaks are magnesium something-I-can't-remember.

Mouse over for details. This is where the wreckage of a car that went over the side still lays. They removed the dead bodies but left the car. It happened years ago off course.

Chandresh checking out the agave in bloom. Agave plants only bloom once in their lifetime (not once every 100 years, lord only knows why it's called a century plant) and then they die. Agave nectar and tequila are two things we enjoy from this plant.

Me and the agave plant. See that prickly plant next to me? Those things are dangerous! Poky and stiff as a board. Let's just say you wouldn't want to trip and land on one of those. *Chandresh took this one*

Mouse over for detail. That is the old wagon trial. Riding in a jeep with suspension was a bumpy ride. I can't imagine riding the trail in a wagon. I'd rather walk thanks! The wagon trail was only about 7' wide if I remember correctly. Scary!

All three of us went on a Pink Jeep Tour. We did the Schnebly Hill Road Scenic Rim tour. And then Chandresh and I went down to Anthem Way to make use a of super coupon for Le Creuset. It was an awesome day!
