These works of art were created by the school children in the area. The children pick their own pumpkins then carve and decorate them. After they are finished with their masterpieces they bring them to the town centre where they are placed over the hundreds of lights on this pyramid. The children are proud to show their creations to family and friends.
This pyramid is the biggest of several located around this small town. Thousands of pumpkins are used for these displays which are the focal point of the the three day celebration. Waterford Ontario Canada "PUMPKINFEST" has been an annual event for 28 years.
