Day 25 - New Years Eve

2007.12.31

Interesting, hmm?

So, since I accidentally skipped over this days entry, here we go.

This was supposed to be the day we moved, but, go figure, it snowed. Since we couldn't move, we decided to play pool instead. We didn't know that at 3pm all the bars were closed, getting ready for National Drinking Night. But one of my favorite places to play pool is right next to an old theater. It was destroyed in a fire years ago and left to sit all this time. There was talk of reopening it, but it hasn't happened yet. Anyway, the ruined overhang is one of my favorite things about this theater. I love taking pictures of it.

Of course, thinking that we were moving, I took a picture of Buster, the neighbor dog. I figured I would finally never see him again. How wrong was I? The unit of neighbor dogs is huge, but there is one at the houses on each side of us. These two are our favorite dogs. They get all our scraps and we bring them home food sometimes. Their names are Buster and Mystical (you might remember him from Day 7, but to save time we call them "Busticle." I'll have to get another picture of Mystical before we go.

bluefroggie Ah, the Washington Theater. I think my dad has 300 stories from the days he used to work there, which I think he said was back in his 20's. Too bad he doesn't have pictures, that'd be hilarious.
