I was on Alternet.org today and I read the article on Medical Marijuana and LSD research. Wow! I don't smoke anymore, but I recommend this article to anyone, whether they do or not. It provides some interesting insights, along with a few giggles. I also read a good one on reverberation-free rooms called anechoic chambers. It kind of makes me want to try it! There's always a handful of interesting articles on this website, so for anyone who likes alternative news mixed with politics and interesting information, surf on over!
It seems that drugs are the theme of the day. I was listening to a song called "Medicated Moment" by my brother, and I became very disoriented. I was trying to grab my camera cord to upload my pictures, and somehow I lost it. Its very confusing to lose something you just had in your hand. It seems the song caused me to have just such a moment. The song had a sort of immobilizing effect on me. I was thinking about not taking a picture today because I didn't want to move. But I got up and took one anyway. I couldn't find anything that fit my state of mind, so I lay on the porch and took some upside down. I salute any music that can effect me so completely.
