Let the football season begin. It was a scorching hot evening in Metro Atlanta, specifically in Marietta where the South Cobb Eagles paid a visit to the Marietta Blue Devils.
It was the typical first game of the season for both teams, the usual 5-yard penalty for false start, off sides, illegal procedure (usually not enough men on the line of scrimmage) Both teams came out passing and running when they did get a play off. South Cobb survived a last play effort by the Devils that came up short. Eagles defeat the Devils 33-26.
